As you will have seen from our Commemoration, Memorial, and Research programmes of work, we have ambitious plans. However none of these plans can come to fruition without funding. We need your help!

Grant funding and philanthropy will be vigorously pursued but none of this will be happen unless Dromcollogher can raise independent funds.

Our initial target is to raise €40,000. This will allow us to apply for and hopefully draw down government funds. More local contributions may be needed!

We have already embarked on some fund raising initiatives. A calendar was published and sold very well. Other activities are in the pipeline but our need for funding is immediate.

We will only get one chance to mark the centenary of the Dromcollogher Cinema Disaster. This is a once in 100 year occasion for our community to step forward and publically remember the tragic loss of so many of our people. The 48 men, women and children who died deserve to be remembered. This commemoration needs to be done and it needs to be done well! The clock is ticking. Your help is needed now!
